Blankie...

Yesterday, It got kind of quiet and I couldn't hear Kaden playing in the other room, so I went looking for him. I walked into my room and found him curled up with his blankie, sound asleep.

Kaden has carried around & slept with this banket since he was a baby. I had a hard time washing it without him getting upset, so I decide I would buy another one. I couldn't find the exact same one, so we got another fleece blankie with a different pattern. He loved it, too. However, he became attatched to both of them and we were back at square one. Until he was about 3 he would ask for both of them at bedtime, but now he has finally decided he can just have one or the other.

***He almost looks like an angel, doesn't he? (I said almost!)

Snow Day...

Well we just got our first snow storm on Tuesday. The boys loved every minute of it. They played & played....until there fingers and toes were to the point of freezing. Landon was able to discover snow for the first time & Braxton thought it was necessary that he discover the taste also. It was good to have the snow to play in for a couple of days, but it has all melted now and I can't say that I am sad.

We got about 4 inches of snow which seems like nothing when you come from Utah, but around here everything shuts down. They closed Braxton's school on Wednesday and had a 2 hour delay this morning. I just have to laugh because if we were in Utah and closed the schools for 4 inches of snow, we'd be out of school pretty much the whole winter.

After a fun snow day, we warmed ourselves with some hot chocolate. There is nothing better than that.

Will you dance with me?

So I went on my annual date with Ethan this month & we had so much fun. I get such a kick out of this kid. He was so excited all day & couldn't wait until the date started. As we were getting ready to head out the door he looks at me, with the cutest & most sincere look in his eyes, "Mom, do you want to dance?" I couldn't help but giggle. So then we proceeded to get in the car and as we were buckling ourselves in he said "Okay, Darling...Lets go." It was so cute! He then said "I'm going to call you Darling all night Mom, Okay?" (I still can't figure out where he got "Darling" from.)

I told Ethan he could choose where we went to dinner & what we did after. So we headed to Chick-fil-a . I had alot of fun talking to Ethan and focusing on him. He told me "Mom, I love you so so so much....you are the bestest Mommy in the world." Ethan decided after dinner we should go to target & look at all of the toys, so that it just what we did. He had fun looking at all the toys & was able to find one just for him.

Scrappin' Addict...

I have been addicted to digital scrapbooking for the past couple of days. A few people have asked to see some of my pages, but I haven't quite gotten my gallery set up yet. I will be getting one soon so, I will let you know. I hope you enjoy!

I found Landon playing in the Christmas decorations just before Christmas and thought he looked adorable. So instead of worrying about the Christmas decorations, I grabbed my camera.
Magical....

After Thanksgiving and eating way too much, we decided to take a walk in our neighborhood.
Kaden seems to always look at things with so much wonder and curiousity. I hope he never loses that.

Braxton & I went on our annual date, just before Christmas. I love this one on one time that I get with all of my boys.

A few hours after opening gifts on Christmas morning, the boys decided they wanted to play with some of there new toys outside, so we did. Ethan thought he was pretty clever by hiding behind a tree and didn't think that we would be able to see him, but as you can tell we could.

Happy New Year!

We all have different ways of ringing in the new year. Some of us go to parties, have friends over, play games, stay up just to watch the ball drop & so on. However, I think that Landon had the right idea for ringing in the New Year.....

Boy, was lucky this year because I got 5 New Years kisses..... from 5 special boys.

This past year has been filled with so many memories & blessings. We are grateful to have each other. And look forward to a New Year full of love & laughter!
