SURPRISE!
Me & My Dad had been planning to fly me out to Utah to surprise my Sisters & Mom since December. Although I was excited to make it happen, in my mind I thought that there was no way we were going to pull this off. First off, My Dad is not too good at keeping secrets & second I am always talking to my Sisters & thought I might slip up.
Much to my surprise, WE PULLED IT OFF! Last Wednesday I flew in.....
The plan was, My Dad had a meeting in Salt Lake (which he often does), then he would invite My Mom & Sisters to meet him for lunch. So My Dad had his "Meeting" with me at the airport, then we drove to the restaurant. My Dad met the girls outside of the restaurant & then said "Oh wait, I forgot something out of the car", he opened the door & out jumped Me. There were lots of screams and even a few tears. I think you can tell by the looks on their faces, they were SURPRISED!
PRICELESS! I had so much fun spending time with my Best Friends & will never forget the memories we made! Thank you SO much Dad for flying me out, You're the best! I love you & miss you all already!

Luckiest Day of the Year?
Well the tales say that March 17th is the luckiest day of the year....
Last year for us it was!!!
We had been struggling for about 2 months with the fact that our unborn son, for unknown reasons, had a hemmorhage in his brain. It took up about 1/2 of the left side. The Doctors told us to expect the worst. They hadn't seen any cases like this. They told us with the severity of the bleed, we should plan for him to be in a wheelchair or even death. It was hard to imagine what life would bring....so we focused on the positive.
So when the day of March 17th came, I can't explain my emotions. At 11:04 am Landon Ryan was born. They took him directly to the NICU....a few minutes later they returned & said that he was doing great and would be transferred to the regular nursery. The tears of joy started flowing and I knew at that moment everything would be okay. Anything would be better than loosing him.
Now you know why we think March 17, 2008 was the LUCKIEST day of the year....Our MIRACLE was born.
Landon is the happiest kid I know. He brings so much joy into our lives & I can't imagine life without him. He has some complications, but I feel Lucky to have him.
OUR LUCKY CHARM!
Happy Birthday Landon! We Love You!
Lucky...
We have taken all of our boys to Build-A-Bear for their first birthday, so we couldn't break our tradition.
Landon will be turning ONE on tuesday..... So we went and helped him choose a green frog with clovers on its cheeks. (We thought it would be a good fit for him, being born on St Patricks Day.) He then took him to get stuffed and kissed his heart for good luck. Next we were off to the Bath station....And this part he hated! I don't know if it was the sound of the air or the air itself, but it freaked him out. We found some cute little clover boxers, and then we were off to the computers to get his birth certificate. We named him Lucky.
Visitors...
We were happy to have my brother Jared & sister-in-law Jennifer come to visit us last week. They were only here for a few days, but the boys loved the time they had with them.
We took a walk to the park...
We were very sad to see them go...
Saying good-bye!
Thanks Jared & Jennifer for such a wonderful visit. We loved having you here.

The weather has been so nice, we are loving it. Saturday we spent time outside playing & doing yard work and Today, Kaden and I washed the car. Our car was so dirty, but now thanks to Kaden it is super clean. We had so much fun playing in the water and being outside.
First, Clean the Rims....
Next, Wash & Rinse...
Then, Dump out Soapy Water....
And Last, but definitely not least...Play in the Water!!
