we aren't always faithful with our weekly family night,

but we try.

tonight we read a christmas story and ate homemade carmel popcorn.

what an amazing little guy.

i am surrounded by it.

i have a husband and 4 boys that fill my world with love everyday.

today i am grateful for "date night."

evan asked a young women in our ward to babysit

so he could surprise me and take me out for my birthday.

(it was a shocking surprise, since this is the first time we have had all the kids babysat

since moving to north carolina by someone other than their grandparents)
