today i am grateful for Christmas music.

it is one of my favorite things this time of the year.

there is something about it.

the way it brightens your mood

and can remind you of the true meaning of Christmas.

today i am grateful for family night.

we aren't always faithful with our weekly family night,

but we try.

tonight we read a christmas story and ate homemade carmel popcorn.

what an amazing little guy.

he loves everyone and everyone loves him.

i am surrounded by it.

i have a husband and 4 boys that fill my world with love everyday.

today i am grateful for "date night."

evan asked a young women in our ward to babysit

so he could surprise me and take me out for my birthday.

(it was a shocking surprise, since this is the first time we have had all the kids babysat

since moving to north carolina by someone other than their grandparents)

what an amazing surprise....

today i am grateful for a library (within walking distance).

we walked to the library as we often do.

the boys love going to check out new books and movies

and the walk is fun too.
