On the GO....

Life for Landon has been a little crazy lately.  He has so many new things going on with his therapy.  His life through our eyes can be a little overwhelming at times, but all we have to do is take a look at his adorable smile and that overwhelming feeling goes away.

He recently got a walker, to help him learn to walk,  and he is on the GO!

Slowly, but surely...
He loves his walker & gets excited to use it!
His cast for his "good" arm.

The Red, White & BLUE...

I don't know about the rest of you, but for our boys the BLUE truly rang through.

We started with a BBQ & a swim, and ended our day with fireworks & a movie.
For most of us our 4th of July was a success,  but for one of us.....

(a picture is worth more than a thousand words)

We hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July.  Especially Braxton!  We miss you & love you!

Grandpa & Grandma Visit...

Grandpa & Grandma came to visit for 2 weeks and the boys loved every minute of it.  We spent a lot of time at our swimming pool, Pullen park,  & the Beach.

Pullen Park was a lot of fun.  We played on the playground, rode the train around the park & paddled around the pond in paddle boats.

We took off to Wrightsville Beach for our Father's Day weekend.  We had a great time, but I don't know who had more fun,  Grandpa & Grandma or the Boys????  We spent a lot of time at the beach & then went to the board walk for a little shopping.

Priceless....(sorry Mom, I couldn't help myself)
Thanks for a wonderful visit, Grandpa & Grandma!  We miss you already!

Charleston

We took our Memorial Day vacation early this year.  We went to Charleston, SC on Wednesday and came back on Saturday.  I am so glad we did, the weather was perfect while we were there & it rained every day after we left.  We had so much fun going to the beach, visiting historical battle fields,  self guided ghost town tours, roaming the town full of old buildings & just taking it easy.

Sitting on a pier looking out at the Ocean...
Playing at the Beach...

A successful family vacation!

Braxton's Window...

Much to my dismay,  Braxton lost one of his upper front teeth.  He has been anticipating this for so long.  It seemed like everyone he knew, even those younger than him were loosing their upper front teeth, but him. Braxton was very excited to lose another tooth.  Although, for me it wasn't so exciting.  It meant that he was entering that awkward stage, you know the one where he has to grow to fit his new teeth.  I know Braxton is a very handsome kid, but all kids go through this stage and they all look a little awkward, right?

Strawberry Festival

On Saturday, we went to the Strawberry Festival.  We all LOVED the chocolate covered strawberries....
And of course, we couldn't pass up getting Strawberries.  We have LOVED eating them on pancakes, ice cream, and plain.  mmmm.....
However, we decided to try the boiled peanuts (since they are a big thing back here), and we all hated them.
After the festival, we decided since we were so close to Myrtle Beach that we would go play in the water for awhile.  The boys had so much fun.  They LOVED playing in the water & sand.
